Most springs, all eyes are on the quarterback position.
Whether that means the focus is on a competition among multiple players for a leg up on the starting job or a talented returner, quarterbacks always seem to gain as much focus as anyone on a football roster.
That's certainly been true for Kansas QB Jalon Daniels, who has been a star with the Jayhawks for the past few seasons. And it's even more true today, as people look more closely at JD6 to see how he's holding up from the back injury that kept him out of the final nine games of the 2023 season.
The good news is, Daniels is out there running around, throwing the ball and leading his teammates. The better news is, he's still got all kinds of time to work himself back to 100% before the start of preseason camp in August and the 2024 season, which, believe it or not, will be here before we know it.
Here's a quick look at a few of Daniels' reps from practice No. 9 of 15 during the Jayhawks' spring football session.
