Fresh off of a weekend sweep of Big 12 foe Houston, the Kansas softball returns home this weekend to take on the No. 1 ranked Oklahoma Sooners at Arrocha Ballpark in Lawrence.

OU and KU, which enters this one ranked No. 24, will play at 5 p.m. Thursday, 5 p.m. Friday and noon on Saturday.

The Jayhawks come in at 22-8-1 overall and 7-2 in Big 12 play and riding high after a stellar start to the season. The Sooners, meanwhile, sit at 31-1 overall and 9-0 in Big 12 play. Their lone loss came in early March in a 7-5, extra-innings loss to Louisiana.

Earlier this week, we caught up with four KU seniors and asked them to share the emotions, excitement and anticipation that comes with taking on the No. 1-ranked team in the country.

Here's what Kasey Hamilton, Sophia Buzard, Savanna DesRochers and Lyric Moore had to say about the opportunity.
