The Kansas baseball team picked up a huge three-game sweep of in-state rival Kansas State over the weekend, winning 5-3 in a thrilling comeback on Friday night and taking both games of a doubleheader on Saturday to finish the job.
The Jayhawks improved to 31-10 on the season with the three wins and now sit at 12-6 in Big 12 play, one game behind West Virginia in first place.

After seeing their bats go quiet into the 7th inning on Friday night, the Jayhawks broke through in a big way, getting an RBI single from Brady Ballinger and a 3-run home run from Jackson Hauge to flip the game on its head.
In many ways, K-State never recovered the rest of the weekend.
Ballinger hit his 13th home run of the season on Saturday and Hauge's dramatic homer on Friday night was his 17th of the year, good for second nationally and moving him into a tie for third place on KU's all-time single-season home run list.
KU has now matched its win total from all of last season with 15 regular season games still to play. The 31-10 record through 41 games marks the best by a KU team since the 1993 College World Series team started 32-9.
The Jayhawks will be on the road for four games next week, heading to Nebraska on Tuesday night and Utah for a three-game weekend series from April 25-27.
Here's a look back at some of Saturday's action from Hoglund Ballpark.
