Manhattan, Kansas — The 16th-ranked Kansas men's basketball team lost to Kansas State on the road for the third consecutive season on Saturday, falling 81-73 to a KSU team that climbed to 12-11 with the win.

The Jayhawks (16-7 overall, 7-5 Big 12) struggled defensively from start to finish and led for just over 2 minutes in this one. K-State, meanwhile, hit 11 3-pointers and led for 37:09 in front of their delighted home fans.

Kansas has now alternated wins and losses for the last six games, dating back to a road win at TCU on Jan. 22, and the Jayhawks' search for consistency rages on while also being a pretty hot topic in the postgame press conference.

More on that elsewhere.

Here's a look back at some of Saturday's action inside Bramlage Coliseum.
