New faces a big story for the Jayhawks this spring, but KU's sound culture made them seem familiar

The Kansas Jayhawks are on the brink of wrapping up the fourth round of spring football practice under head coach Lance Leipold, and this spring has been different than any of the rest of them.

New names and faces dominated the field, with so many KU veterans now out of eligibility.

Just because the 2025 Jayhawks will feature a host of new players in key positions, however, does not mean that they're rebuilding. In fact, with enough veterans still on board, including quarterback Jalon Daniels, and a culture that's as firmly in place as it's ever been at KU, it's been largely business as usual for the Jayhawks this spring.

Hard work, lots of energy and an emphasis on the program's mantra of getting 1% better every day has continued to guide them, and the Jayhawks will move into the next phase of their shorter-than-normal offseason with a solid foundation.

Here's a look at some of the scenes from the final week of spring practices for the Jayhawks.
