Kansas City, Missouri — The Kansas men's basketball team opened Big 12 tournament play in the final game of the day on Wednesday night at T-Mobile Center.
The 6th-seeded Jayhawks survived a scare from No. 14 UCF, which drubbed No. 11 seed Utah during Tuesday's opening round in the same building, winning 98-94 in overtime.
