The top-ranked Kansas men's basketball team knocked off No. 17 Kentucky, 89-84, in a wild, back-and-forth affair that featured both teams taking and losing control a couple of different times during the game.
In the end, KU's poise and three monster performances by Hunter Dickinson (27 points, 21 rebounds), Kevin McCullar Jr. (12-10-10 triple-double) and Dajuan Harris Jr. (career-high 23 points on 5-of-6 shooting from 3-point range) led to a KU victory.
The win was the Jayhawks third of the season in as many tries and KU's fourth straight victory at the Champions Classic.
