The Kansas football program hosted its annual spring showcase on Friday night on the soccer field at Rock Chalk Park.

The event was moved to the soccer venue because of ongoing construction at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium. But it drew a wonderful crowd on an absolutely perfect spring evening, with fans packed into the Rock Chalk Park stands and seated along the grass berms on the north and east sides of the soccer field.

The showcase was the 13th of 15 spring practices for the Jayhawks this spring, and the veteran group that returns a ton of talent from last season's 9-4, Guaranteed Rate Bowl championship team, pleased KU coach Lance Leipold with the effort they put in throughout spring and on Friday night.

Here's a look back at some of the fun from Friday night.
