The 17th-ranked Kansas men's basketball team led for 37 minutes and trailed for just 53 seconds during a 71-59 home win over Colorado on Tuesday night.
The Jayhawks (17-7 overall, 8-5 Big 12) led by 14 at halftime (46-22) but saw CU (9-15, 0-13) cut the lead to as little as five in the second half. While that kept KU coach Bill Self from feeling overly positive about this win, the Jayhawks also did enough to make sure it never got too hairy down the stretch.
