Kansas City, Missouri — Exactly one week after dropping a 10-inning game to Missouri at Hoglund Ballpark in Lawrence, the Kansas baseball team got revenge on Tuesday night, with a 4-3, 10-inning win over the Tigers at Kauffman Stadium.

A dogfight of a game all night finally ended when Collier Cranford lifted a sacrifice fly to the outfield that scored Ty Gerety, setting the stage for the KU defense to close out the win in the bottom of the 10th.

The win moved KU to 11-8 overall. Next up, the Jayhawks will play host to UCF this weekend in their third Big 12 series of the season so far.

Here's a look at some of Tuesday's action at the home of the Kansas City Royals, with more to come.
