The Kansas women's soccer team opened the 2024 Big 12 Conference portion of its schedule with a 1-0 home loss to Iowa State on Thursday at Rock Chalk Park.
The loss dropped first-year coach Nate Lie's team to 2-2-3 on the season and 0-1 in Big 12 play.
All four of the Jayhawks' non-ties have been one-goal games, and, after the match, Lie said he and his staff, along with the team, have to find a way to start capitalizing on the chances they are creating on offense.
Next up, KU will play host to Friends University at 1 p.m. Sunday at Rock Chalk Park, before jumping back into Big 12 play for the rest of the regular season.
Here's a look back at some of Thursday's action.
