Kansas City, Missouri — Not yet an hour removed from playing his part in a convincing win over No. 16 Colorado at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, KU cornerback Cobee Bryant made quite an entrance into the media room as the first player up at the podium after the 37-21 beatdown.
“How y’all doin,” Bryant shouted, beaming, as he walked in wearing a vintage Darrell Stuckey KU T-Shirt.
We’re good, Cobee. Thanks for asking.

Without even having to ask, we all also knew how Bryant was doing. Not just because of the bounce in his step, but also because of the way he played and the result on the field.
Three days after talking with local reporters about how much this game meant to him and how he had long been looking forward to the chance to showcase his game and skills against likely first-round NFL draft picks in Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, Bryant went out and had a day.
He didn’t keep Sanders and Hunter under wraps by any means. But the KU defense as a whole held the Buffs and their two stars to one of their least productive offensive outputs of the 2024 season.
And they won. Convincingly.
So, yeah, we knew exactly how Bryant was doing when he walked into that room and he was humble and gracious in victory while saying that he had a heck of a lot of fun mixing it up with his opponents while he was out there competing during the game.
Here’s a closer look at some of Bryant’s best moments from Saturday’s victory, including a few head-to-head moments with Hunter.
