Columbia, Missouri — The top-ranked Kansas Jayhawks dropped their second game in a row on Sunday, falling to a 1-loss Missouri Tigers team, 76-67, at Mizzou Arena.

The game was played in front of a wild crowd that jumped on the Jayhawks from well before the opening tip all the way to the end. Kansas led for just 17 seconds after scoring the game's first bucket.

• Made Kansas 7-2 and gives KU two losses through its first nine games for the first time since the 2017-18 season.

• Ended a Kansas five-game winning streak against Missouri and makes the series 176-96 in favor of KU.

• Made Kansas 0-2 in true road games this season and 2-2 in games not played in Allen Fieldhouse.

• Made Bill Self 595-145 while at KU, 802-250 all-time and 19-5 versus Missouri.

• Made KU 2,400-896 all time.

TEAM NOTES

• Kansas shot 9-11 (82.0 percent) from the free throw line.

• Kansas outrebounded Missouri, 40-29. The Jayhawks are 6-1 when out-rebounding their opponent this season. Kansas’ 40 rebounds are the third most this season.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

• Senior center Hunter Dickinson recorded his fourth double-double of the season (52nd career) with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Dickinson shot 2-4 (50.0 percent) from beyond the arc and also added 4 assists. Dickinson’s 52 career doubledoubles rank third on the NCAA DI active career list.

• Senior guard David Coit scored his 1,100th career point when he made a 3PT in the first half. Coit finished the contest with 14 points and 3 rebounds on a 4-7 (57.1 percent) clip from three. Coit’s four threes were the most he has made while at Kansas. Coit’s 14 points were a season high, surpassing the 13 points against UNCW (11/19).

• Point guard Dajuan Harris Jr. started his 88th consecutive game, which ranks 10th on the Kansas career list. Harris played 38 minutes and now has 4,356 career minutes, which ranks third on the KU career minutes played list. He passed Frank Mason III (2014-17) who played 4,347 minutes while at KU. Harris scored 13 points to mark his sixth game of 10-plus points this season and 45th of his career.

• Senior forward KJ Adams had 11 points to mark the fourth time this season he has scored in double figures, the 50th time in his KU career. Adams added a perfect 5-5 from the charity stripe.
