Manhattan, Kansas — The 16th-ranked KU men's basketball team landed on the wrong side of a bunch of numbers following Saturday's 81-73 loss at Kansas State in Bramlage Coliseum.

• Kansas shot 50.0 percent (30-of-60) from the floor. It is the fourth Big 12 conference game this season where Kansas has shot 50.0 percent or better

• Kansas dished out 22 assists, which is tied for the fourth-highest team total this season. Kansas’ 22 assists is the team’s second-highest in Big 12 play this season (UCF, Jan. 5, 2025 - 30 assists)

• Kansas outrebounded Kansas State, 36-30

• Kansas outscored Kansas State in the paint, 44-40

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

• Graduate guard Dajuan Harris Jr. eclipsed the 800 assist mark with 6 assists against Kansas State. He is now just the third Jayhawk with 800 or more career assists. Harris now has 804 assists for his career and is tied for No. 2 with Jacque Vaughn (804) on Kansas’ all-time career assist list. Harris also picked 2 steals, which moves him into a tie for No. 5 with Russell Robinson (247) on the Kansas all-time career steals list.

• Senior center Hunter Dickinson scored 21 points on 8-of-16 (50.0 percent) shooting and brought down 9 rebounds, also dishing out 4 assists. Dickinson now has eight games this season scoring 20 or more points.

• Senior guard Zeke Mayo scored 15 points and went a perfect 3-of-3 (100.0 percent) from beyond the arc. Mayo added 7 rebounds and dished out 5 assists. It is Mayo’s fourth game this season with 5+ rebounds and 5+ assists.

• Senior forward KJ Adams went 6-of-9 (66.7 percent) from the floor for 13 points and 5 boards. Adams has scored 10 or more points in seven games this season, 53 for his career.
