• Kansas’ 84 points mark the fifth time this season with at least 80 points, as the Jayhawks are now 5-0 when scoring 80 or more points.
• Kansas shot 55.4 percent (31-of-56) from the field. The Jayhawks have shot 50.0 percent or better in eight games this season, in which the Jayhawks are 8-0 this season. Kansas held Kansas State to shoot 45.8% (27-of-59) from the field, as Kansas improves to 12-0 when outshooting its opponent this season.
• Kansas collected 12 offensive rebounds. The Jayhawks have secured double-digit offensive rebounds in nine contests this season.
• Kansas led Kansas State wire-to-wire, marking the fourth time this season and second time in Big 12 Conference play that the Jayhawks led the entire game. Kansas also led UCF wire-to-wire in a game that the Jayhawks won, 99-48.
• Saturday’s win over Kansas State marks Kansas’ fifth win on a Saturday this season, of which the Jayhawks are 5-0 this season.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• Senior guard Zeke Mayo shot 7-of-13 from the field on Saturday, including 4-of-7 from beyond the arc, finishing with 24 points. The 24-point performance marked the sixth time this season with 20+ points and the 35th of his career. With Mayo’s four three pointers, he now has seven games this season with at least three three-pointers.
• Senior center Hunter Dickinson finished with 25 points on 12-of-19 shooting, marking his fifth 20+ point performance of the season and 53rd of his career. Dickinson led KU in scoring for the fifth time this season and 25th time of his KU career.
• With Mayo and Dickinson both scoring over 20 points, Saturday marks the third time this season Kansas had two 20+ point scorers in the same game (North Carolina, NC State).
• Senior point guard Dajuan Harris Jr. scored 15 points on 6-of-9 from the field to go along with five assists. Harris registered his 10th game this season with 10 or more points and the 49th game of his career, while his five assists marked his 13th this season and 87th of his career with five or more assists.
• Harris’ 15 points moved him into 52nd in all-time scoring, surpassing Ryan Robertson, Kelly Knight, Otto Schnellbacher and Rex Walters. Harris now has 1,067 career points and is two points from tying Udoka Azubuike for 51st in program history.
• Freshman forward Flory Bidunga tallied 6 points on 2-of-3 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds in his first career start. Bidunga was also a perfect 2-for-2 from the free throw line in the win.
