TEAM NOTES
• Kansas held the Buffaloes to just 59 points on Tuesday, which marks the ninth time Kansas has held an opponent under 60 points, with the Jayhawks winning all nine of those matchups. Kansas has held their opponent under 60 points five times in the conference schedule this season. Kansas is now 218-2 under Bill Self when holding opponents under 60 points.
• Kansas held Colorado to a 38.6 field goal percentage Tuesday night. Kansas is now 16-6 when their opponents shoot under 50 percent from the floor.
• Kansas shot 46 percent from the field in Tuesday’s win. The Jayhawks are now 16-1 this season when they record a higher field goal percentage than their opponents.
• With Tuesday’s win over Colorado, Kansas now moves to 5-1 on Tuesday’s this season and they carry an undefeated mark on Tuesday’s in the 2025 calender year.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• Graduate center Hunter Dickinson notched his 2,600th career point in Tuesday’s win over the Buffaloes. Dickinson finished the game with 19 points along with nine rebounds. Tuesday night marked the Jayhawks’ 10th win when Dickinson records nine or more rebounds. Dickinson now has 2,607 points for his career, which ranks 43rd on the NCAA all-time career scoring list.
• Graduate guard Dajuan Harris Jr. moved into solo No. 2 on the Kansas all-time assist list with his first assist in tonight’s game and the 805th of his career. Harris passed Jacque Vaughn (804 from 1994-97) and trails only Aaron Miles, who is first (954 from 2002-05). Harris finished the game with 10 points, marking the third time in the last four games where he has poured in double-digit points, along with
five assists. Harris now has 52 games in his career where he has scored over 10 points, coupled with 92 games with five or more assists.
• Senior guard David Coit made his 200th career three-pointer Tuesday night. Coit finished the contest with eight points, while knocking down two triples. Tuesday’s win over Colorado marked the 55th time that Coit has knocked down multiple threes in a game during his career, and his seventh time accomplishing that feat this season.
• Senior guard Zeke Mayo finished Tuesday’s game with a well rounded 13 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Mayo has recorded five or more assists in five games this season, all of the contests ended with a Kansas win. Tuesday’s win also marked the sixth time Mayo pulled down eight or more rebounds, Kansas is 5-1 in those contests.
• Senior forward KJ Adams scored 10 points, while recording five assists, five rebounds, three steals and a block. Tuesday was the 54th time of Adams’ career where he has notched double digit points, and the eighth time this season he has accomplished that feat. Adams’ block tonight marked the 75th of his Jayhawk career.
• Freshman center Flory Bidunga finished Tuesday’s contest with four points and six rebounds, along with two blocks. With the win over the Buffaloes, Kansas moves to 9-2 when Bidunga grabs six or more rebounds.
