• Made Kansas 21-11 on the season.

• Improved Kansas to 80-30 in league tournament play and 50-14 at the Big 12 Championship. Kansas is the winningest team in the history of the Big 12 Championship, becoming the first team in conference history with 50 wins in the event.

• Is the third straight for Kansas over UCF as the Jayhawks improve to 3-1 all-time against the Knights. The win is KU’s first against UCF in the Big 12 Championship. UCF becomes the 14th different opponent that Kansas has defeated in the event.

• Made Kansas 47-12 all-time in the T-Mobile Center, including 1-0 this season.

• Made Bill Self 609-154 while at Kansas, 816-259 all-time, and 45-15 all-time in league tournaments (36-10 while at Kansas).

KANSAS NOTES

• Kansas improves to 3-0 all-time in overtime games at the Big 12 Championship. The Jayhawks previously defeated Oklahoma State 77-70 in the 2014 quarterfinals and Texas 88-84 in the 2007 finals in overtime.

• Senior guard Zeke Mayo and graduate center Hunter Dickinson both scored more than 20 points, with Mayo finishing with 24 while Dickinson added 23. This is the fifth time in Big 12 Championship history that Kansas has had multiple players score 20+ points and the first since March 12, 2016, when Devonte Graham (27) and Wayne Selden Jr. (21) did so against West Virginia in the tournament final.

• The 98 points scored by Kansas is the second-highest total scored by the Jayhawks in the Big 12 Championship, trailing only the 102 points scored in the 2002 quarterfinals in a 102-73 win over Colorado.

• The combined point total of 1 UCF and Kansas combined for the highest point total (192) in Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship history.

• Kansas finished 12-of-27 (44.4 percent) from three-point range, marking the fourth time the Jayhawks have made 12 or more threepointers in a Big 12 Championship game. Kansas holds the event record for three-pointers made in a game, hitting 15 vs. West Virginia in the 2018 final and vs. Texas in the 2008 final.

• Kansas is now 17-3 this season when leading at halftime.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

• Senior guard Zeke Mayo finished with 24 points and 8 rebounds, hitting 5-of-7 three-pointers in the win. This marks Mayo’s second consecutive 20-point game and his ninth of the season. It is also the 19th time this season he has hit multiple three-pointers in a game this season and the 14th time he’s hit three or more three-pointers. Mayo has now made five three-pointers in back-to-back games.

• Graduate center Hunter Dickinson recorded his 32nd double-double as a Jayhawk with 23 points and 13 rebounds against UCF. Dickinson joins Thomas Robinson (32 double-doubles; 2009-11) at No. 9 on Kansas’ all-time double-doubles list. Dickinson has six double-doubles in his last seven games and ranks second in the Big 12 with 15 this season. Dickinson also set a new season high as he knocked down 3-of-4 three-pointers.

• Junior guard AJ Storr set a new season high, scoring 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting while adding two rebounds and two assists. Storr made multiple three-pointers for the fourth time this season and set a new season high by knocking down 3-of-5 three-point attempts.

• Senior forward KJ Adams reached double figures in scoring for the fifth straight game and 13th time this season as he totaled 15 points and 7 rebounds while matching a season high with 5 assists.
