The Kansas volleyball team, which finished second in the Big 12 Conference with a 14-4 conference mark and 23-5 overall record, earned one of the top 16 seeds in this year's NCAA Tournament on Sunday night.

As a result, Kansas will host first- and second-round matches at Horejsi Family Volleyball Arena on Thursday and Friday.

KU, which is seeded fourth in the Wisconsin region, will play Omaha at 7 p.m. Thursday and the winner will advance to 5:30 p.m. Friday to play the winner of Thursday's match between No. 5 seed Penn State and Yale.

Here's what it looked like when the Jayhawks found out they were hosting.

Stay tuned to Wave the Wheat for much more on Sunday's experience (coming Monday morning) and the team's upcoming postseason appearance.
